Thaalipeeth - Indian Multi-grain multi Indian masala bread
Today I am sharing Indian traditional recipe in Marathi language we called it.
As "थालिपीठ" i.e. Thalipeeth. It’s a kind of
Indian Multi-grain multi Indian masala bread.
Let’s get started first we need
Thalipeeth flour i.e. Bhajani (भाजणी).
Ingredients for making Bhajani:
- 250 grams Rice
- 250 grams Jowar
- 125 grams Wheat germ
- 125 grams Bajra
- 125 grams Green gram (green moong
Dal)
- 125 grams Black gram (Urad Dal)
- 2 tbsp. Coriander seeds
- 2 tbsp. Cumin seeds
Method for Bhajani:
- Take heavy pan and roast all
ingredients one by one for 10-15 minutes keep stirring constantly so that
they don't burn. (Don’t use oil to roast).
- After roasting all ingredient
mix them well and grind it in mixer grinder or grinding mill.
Ingredient for Thalipeeth
- Chopped Onion - 1
- Chopped green chili (optional) -
1
- Bhajani flour -2 Cup
- Salt to test
- Chili power
- 2 tsp Oil
- 2 tbsps. chopped coriander
- lukewarm water to make dough.
Method for Thalipeeth
- Mix all ingredients in a bowl with 1
tbsp. oil.
- Pour enough water and start making
dough.
- Heat the non-stick pan (Tava) and
grease it with oil.
- Spread a layer like a pancake
and make 2-3 holes and put little oil in it cook it till get brown do the
same for other side.
- Serve it with tomato Sauce or with
yogurt or mixture of Jaggery and butter.
Time for preparation: 5 Minutes
Cooking Level: Easy
Cooking time: 7 - 8 Minutes
